P6 for Admins – September 2021

Event Date:

September 22, 2021

Event Time:

8:00 am

Event Location:

Project Controls Training Center

Overview:

Planners and schedulers generally are not the best typists and are paid too well to be used as data entry clerks. Well trained admins can reduce the number of planners/schedulers needed while expediting the schedule development process. A well-trained admin can help to expedite the daily updating process and assist with the demands of reports dissemination and so much more. Schedulers can spend less time bogged in minutia and more time with important schedule management tasks and project analysis functions.

Who Should Take This Class

Admins who want to broaden their skills into the arena of scheduling.

What You Will Learn

Students will learn how to navigate the EPS screen in P6 to access files and enter schedule activities. Students will learn how to adjust user settings and how to assist schedulers with activity coding and schedule progress updates.
